The
humidity drying oven is used to dry core samples under constant relative
humidity condition; in particular it is very important when the core contains
hydratable clays or gypsum. This
oven is composed of a robust air bath, an electronic temperature regulator, a
water vapor injection system, a capacitance probe to control humidity level and
a timer.
