"Set &
Forget" In-Line Viscosity Management from 0.2 to 20,000
Operating
Principle
The High Temperature Viscometer consists of Cambridge's ViscoPro 2000 processor and a choice of several sensors. New
ceramic technology allows viscosity measurements up to 370 degrees C and
provides highly accurate and repeatable viscosity, temperature, and
temperature-compensated viscosity (TCV). Data are output on a visual
display, via RS-232 port and a single 4-20mA output channel.
The system can be programmed for up to 40 different
fluid settings for rapid product changeovers. It
comes with alarm signals, a control output, and allows the user to
control a process with our proprietary "set-it and forget-it"
software. The software has a
unique feature that senses process line cleaning and directs the sensor
to clean itself.
The HTL392, HTL311, and HTL301 In-line sensors are
based on a simple and reliable electromagnetic concept. Two
coils move a piston back and forth magnetically at a constant force. Proprietary
circuitry analyzes the pistons two-way travel time to measure
absolute viscosity.
