Cambridge Viscosity AV571

Operating Principle

Our viscosity management technology is based on a simple and reliable electromagnetic concept. Two coils move the piston back and forth magnetically at a constant force. Proprietary circuitry analyzes the pistons two-way travel time to measure absolute viscosity.

Equipment Description

The high throughput AV571 is one of the most technically advanced autoviscometers on the market today. Its revolutionary patented design permits fully unattended measurements. Sample trays can be manually placed or conveyor fed to permit true assembly line automation.

Our advanced software system allows central data management to track individual viscosity test results. These results can also be sent to other databases for laboratories testing many parameters. Data can be stored and managed within the AV571 or fed and collected by many laboratory information management systems.

The intelligent processing software has built in error detection to ensure all samples are measured accurately or flagged for additional analysis.
